Christopher Murray is an oil painter and illustrator
based in the Southeast US. He has completed portraits
for the Delchamps (grocery store) family, a mural for the
Alabama School for the Deaf, cover art for "Beach House
Free Press" Magazine, and T-shirt images for Al-Anon
family groups and the Southeastern AA Convention,
among other commissions. In 2009, he appeared on NBC
15 News demonstrating spray paint art techniques.
Recently Murray illustrated three children's books written
by Beth Smithem, available from "Author House Press".
His painting "Post-Apocalyptic Landscape II" won the
Mobile Press Register CLA award at the 2007 People's
Art Show in Mobile, AL. Murray also works in graphite,
charcoal, colored pencil and spray paint, and exhibits in
various southeastern galleries.
